Make your mark in fighting financial fraud

We’re looking for a Software Developer to join our Antifraud Team. You’ll be a key player in developing, maintaining, and improving core components like our rule engine, fraud investigation tool, NFCert services, and daily spending limit solution.

The team consists of a Product Owner, Development Manager, Business Developer, 3 Developers, and an intern – all with deep domain expertise and over 30 years of combined Bankdata experience. We collaborate closely and work in Scrum, with all the standard ceremonies and a strong emphasis on knowledge sharing and quality.

We offer great flexibility – typically we’re in the office 3–4 days a week, balancing focus time and teamwork.

Your role: Ownership, craftsmanship, and collaboration

As a Software Developer in our team, you will:

• Take technical ownership of key antifraud components

• Build and improve microservice- and microfrontend-based solutions

• Ensure high code quality using clean code principles and established design patterns

• Write solid unit tests and ensure critical flows are monitored with Grafana

• Contribute to a collaborative team culture through code reviews and sparring

• Challenge processes and solutions that don’t make sense – and help build better ones

• Actively share your knowledge and support the growth of your teammates

In the first 6–12 months, success means:

• Demonstrating solid understanding of clean code, SOLID, and design patterns

• Delivering well-tested, observable, and resilient code

• Raising the bar for code quality through peer feedback and initiative

• Engaging proactively with teammates and the broader organization

• Taking responsibility for team outcomes, not just individual tasks

Is this you?

We imagine you bring a solid technical background and a positive, team-oriented mindset. You probably hold a degree in software engineering or computer science – but what really matters is your hands-on experience and attitude.

You’re a great fit if you have:

• 2–3+ years of professional experience as a software developer

• Strong skills in Java and a good grasp of microservices architecture

• Experience with microfrontends, database design, and container orchestration (OpenShift/Kubernetes)

• Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD)

• High standards, and a drive to build reliable, maintainable software
