Join a new team where your technical ideas and skills will directly affect both solutions and team culture.
At Bankdata, we work with complex business-critical systems that improve our customers' operations. As a Senior Software Developer in the Liquidity & Cash Management team in Aarhus, you will have the opportunity to shape both products and team culture from day one. Here, we combine technical excellence with focus on collaboration and professional growth.
The role: Ensure Technical Quality, Innovation, and Collaboration
As a Senior Software Developer, you will play an important role in developing and maintaining business-critical solutions within Cash Management. Your work will help ensure stable, reliable software that supports Bankdata’s customers and contributes to our ambition of delivering robust digital solutions for the financial sector. In this role, you will combine hands-on development with technical ownership and collaboration across disciplines to create solutions with real impact.
You will join the Liquidity & Cash Management team, which consists of a Manager, Product Owner, Senior Software Developer, Software Developer, and two Business Consultants. The team works closely together across both business and technical perspectives, with ongoing collaboration between development, product, and UX. As a relatively new team, there is a strong focus on building shared understanding, close collaboration, and delivering value together.
What success looks like after 6–12 months
You have developed a solid understanding of the Cash Management domain and current products.
You deliver improvements to existing solutions and contribute to new initiatives.
You actively participate in agile ceremonies, knowledge sharing, and peer support.
You handle tasks from estimation to implementation and quality assurance.
You have established effective collaboration with UX, Product Owner, and team members.
Your Profile: Skilled, accountable, and curious
We are seeking someone who values quality, learning, and delivery, and thrives in close collaboration across disciplines.
We imagine that you bring experience with:
OOP backend (Java or C#)
Frontend frameworks (Angular, React or similar)
CI/CD and automated testing
Container platforms (OpenShift/Kubernetes)
Experience in financial domains such as banking, fintech, or insurance is an advantage but not required. Relevant experience from other complex or business-critical systems is equally valuable.
Development Opportunities: What we offer
You will have the opportunity to act as a technical mentor, drive initiatives on code quality and technical standards, and help shape the team’s technical solutions and methods. In the longer term, you can expand your responsibilities, specialize technically, or move toward lead or architect roles depending on your skills.
